As we have seen with Diddlyi.com, the Internet has really opened up loads of new ways to enjoy Irish Dance and Music. We have lots to see and hear on this site, but sometimes it is just nice to let somebody else do the hard work in finding the good stuff, letting us put our feet up and listen to what they come up with.
So here I list some of the best places on the Internet where you can find people who are playing some great traditional Irish music.
Gerry Quinn with Quinn Irish Radio.
Marc Gunn with the Celtic Music Podcast.
LiveIreland at LiveIreland.com.
The Cleveland Celtic Podcast.
Irish Fireside.
For any Irish speakers, you can occasionally here some good trad on Radio na Gaeltachta.
RTE's Lyric FM play great music, but you will only hear trad sometimes during the week.

"Billy Elliot The Musical" won big at Sunday's Tony Awards in New York City. And an integral member of the musical's cast is Trent Kowalik.
In the past, Kowalik has won many national and regional Irish dance titles in addition to being a National and World Irish Dance Champion.
Now Kowalik along with two other performers, David Alverz and Kiril Kulish, have been awarded the Tony (an award for excellence in American theatre) for best actor in a musical. (The three boys all play the musical's title character and alternate performances.) Three performers sharing one role winning one award is a first in Tony history, by the way. Congrats, Trent!

Moya Brennan of Clannad, the Grammy Award-winning Irish music group from Donegal, is set to host and perform in a brand new U.S. TV show. The show which is produced by PBS (the American non-profit public broadcasting TV service) hopes to introduce Americans to Irish music they may not be familiar with already. With artists such as Sinéad O'Connor, Glen Hansard and the Chieftains scheduled to perform, the show promises to be a hit. The Irish Tribune quoted Brennan, who came up with the idea for the show while touring in the US, as saying, "I thought a series like this would be great for introducing an American audience to real Irish artists and real Irish music, what it is and what it sounds like."
The show, which is is untitled at the moment, will begin shooting late this summer and will air on PBS
